The Forest Park South Business Association (FPSBA) was honored to have Mayor Lyda Krewson as its featured speaker for the final luncheon of the year held at Healthworks! Kids’ Museum on October 16th. Members toured the museum’s many attractions aimed at educating children (and adults) about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. President Shannon Woodcock and Lead Health Instructor Caity Biberdorf presented condensed version of their educational topics to the members.
Mayor Krewson spoke about the importance of small businesses committed to their neighborhoods, like the ones involved in the FPSBA. Mayor Krewson also answered questions from the attendees about the Amazon proposal, among other pressing issues facing the City of St. Louis.
This month’s luncheon, we also highlighted our member’ (1) St. Louis University High School who is celebrating their Bicentennial with a big school-wide service day this month, (2) Saint Louis Effort for AIDS–ACCESS Project which will be helping everyone with ACA Open Enrollment starting November 1st, and (3) HealthWorks Kids’ Museum St. Louis which infectiously contaminate kids of all ages to learn, have fun, and make great life choices.
